"I’ve loved fairy tales for as long as I can remember. Not for the happily ever after, but for the sense of magic they carry, the feeling that something beautiful and strange could happen at any moment. That atmosphere stayed with me.

My work now leans into magical realism. I use it as a way to bring a bit of that wonder into everyday life. When I paint, I’m trying to create a small escape, something beautiful that feels like fantasy but is still familiar. If someone feels even a moment of magic or curiosity when they look at my work, that’s enough for me.
