"I’ve loved fairy tales for as long as I can remember. Not for the happily ever after, but for the sense of magic, sparkle, shimmer and wonder they carry, and the feeling that something beautiful and strange could happen at any moment. 

My work leans heavily into magical realism as I try to bring a bit of that wonder into everyday life. When I paint, I’m trying to create a small magical escape, something beautiful that feels like fantasy but is still familiar. If someone feels even a moment of curiosity when they look at my work, that’s enough for me.
