What do I do?
Whenever a block strikes I turn to my Moonstone collection. These are purely imaged seascapes and actually, one of my best selling ranges.
The great thing about this type of imagined, abstract approach gives me the freedom to let my imagination run wild, in the moment, based on how I'm feeling, helping me to be creative without the hours and hours of planning a composition.
Lot's of these little pieces end up in the bin, but some turn out well and are popular in the marketplace - a nice surprise which was born from playing around and 'seeing how it goes.'
So, if you're stuck, just get your brushes out and try something new, you never know what treasure you'll find within yourself.
