About the painting

This oil painting shows two pretty child fairies in an autumn nest, settling down for a cosy nights rest, looked over by their guardian. The piece is painted on wood panel and you can see the wood grain in some areas, adding to it's natural feel.

The frame is custom handmade from lightweight Obeche hardwood and painted and gilded in gold coloured metal leaf for a slightly rustic old gold finish.
